"Today is Martin Luther King day I found when I came home that my niece had found a kitten in the garbage can ( she was bringing them back up to the house). I called our vet and every vet I could to try to get this new kitten in for an appointment To see if it's OK everyone said 2 to 3 weeks. I have other animals and did not want to put them in danger. Of course they all had to Fall in love with this little thing. Luckily they were so nice here and this little kitten who was outside freezing will be able to be seen Thursday. I can't believe how nice they are here!"

As an American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited facility, Howland Community Animal Hospital regularly undergoes evaluations to ensure that we meet or exceed AAHA's standards of care.

These standards cover nearly every aspect of our hospital, including surgery, exam facilities, patient care, cleanliness, client service, emergency services, diagnostic imaging, and anesthesiology. Only 15% of animal hospitals in the United States and Canada are accredited by AAHA, which is recognized worldwide as the benchmark for quality care in veterinary medicine.
